The kitchen is fully equipped with Calphalon cookware, china, glasses, bread machine, blender, food processor, etc.
The water system utilizes two separate solar heaters with an electrical back-up water heater that has never been needed. The water source is rainwater stored in two cisterns with an overall capacity of 40,000 gallons. Water may also be purchased from various sources on island, if preferred.
The appliances were chosen for durability and quality. Viking, SubZero, Asko , DCS and Mitsubishi are all used in the house.
